What is it about Friday that makes us all take in a big breath and relax? Is there a way to spread it around a bit more in the week? It would be nice to feel this way more frequently. The meditation is helping, but I’m still open to ideas.
Sadly, I have no new pictures today. I’m still working on finishing about 3 fiber projects and Big Bertha is going a bit slower than expected. Besides, it’s just way too late in the day to take gratuitous animal photos of the new hamster. (Speaking of the hamster, it’s just not right that she’s sleeping upside down in her tube. I’m, ah, concerned for her psychological well-being.)
I did add another layer of wash on Big Bertha in selected areas to add more variation. It’s subtle, so not really worthy of another photo. After the wash dries and if I have time tonight, I’ll put on some gel medium in a sporadic way, particularly over some of the sparkly bits. (Chuckling and rubbing hands with glee.)
With all of these lovely projects in the works, I’m hoping to have a bunch to share by the end of the weekend!
